These Terms & Conditions govern your use of wadeysfurniture.co.uk and any orders placed with Wadeys Furniture Co. ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader business operated from 4 Mangapp Chase, Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, CM0 8QQ. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Made to Order
All Wadeys Furniture Co. pieces are handcrafted to order. Each piece is made specifically for you following receipt of payment. We strongly encourage you to:

  • Check all dimensions carefully before ordering

  • Review all material and finish descriptions thoroughly

  • Contact us at wadeysfurnitureco@gmail.com before ordering if you have any questions

2. Ordering & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of placing your order

  • Payments are processed securely through Squarespace Payments — we do not store or have access to your raw card details

  • By placing an order you are entering into a binding contract with Wadeys Furniture Co.

  • All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable

  • Prices are subject to change at any time, however the price displayed at the time of your order will always be honoured

3. Lead Times & Production

  • Estimated lead times will be confirmed at the time of order

  • Production begins upon receipt of full payment

  • Lead times are estimates and may be subject to change due to material availability or other circumstances beyond our control

  • We will communicate any significant delays as early as possible

4. Cancellations
As all pieces are made to order, cancellations are subject to the following:

  • Cancellations requested within 48 hours of placing your order will be accepted and a full refund issued

  • After 48 hours, production may have commenced and cancellations cannot be guaranteed

  • Where a cancellation is accepted after production has begun, we reserve the right to deduct reasonable costs already incurred

  • Custom orders with bespoke specifications may be non-cancellable — this will be confirmed at the time of order

5. Delivery

  • We deliver throughout the UK — delivery costs and estimated timescales will be confirmed at checkout

  • Ownership and risk of the goods passes to you upon delivery

  • Every piece is carefully packaged to minimise the risk of damage in transit

  • If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at wadeysfurnitureco@gmail.comwith photographic evidence

  • We are unable to accept liability for damage reported after this period

6. Natural Wood Characteristics
Our furniture is crafted from solid natural wood. Variations in grain, colour, texture and natural markings are inherent characteristics of natural materials and are not considered faults or defects. These variations are part of what makes each Wadeys piece unique.

7. Intellectual Property
All designs, images, copy and content on wadeysfurniture.co.uk are the intellectual property of Wadeys Furniture Co. and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wadeys Furniture Co. shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. Our liability shall not exceed the value of the order placed.

9. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation.

10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
